Our History

Hani Mohamad Nahleh graduated from the American University in Beirut (AUB) in 1976. He joined Nestle Lebanon in 1980 and during the period 1982-2010 he handled different positions in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and UAE. In 2003 he was appointed General Manager for Nestle Jordan and in 2007 General Manager for Nestle Syria.

Hani returned to Lebanon in 2011 and created his family business “Agencies For Trading and Distribution “(ATD).

The company started its operations in 2012 by importing exclusive food brands from Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.

ATD signed In 2013 -2014 landmark partnership agreements with Nestle Lebanon and L’Oreal Liban for the distribution of their respective products in South Lebanon.

A new company was created "Nahleh Trading Company" ( NTC ) to handle the portfolio of all food brands and ATD to cater for all non-food brands .

Growth and Expansion

The business expanded rapidly and In 2018, NTC added to its portfolio, Nestle Professional products (Out of home and coffee machines).

During this expansion phase, NTC and ATD enlarged the distribution operations to include Iqlim Al Kharroub , Jyeh coastal road , Chouf mountains , Beirut etc.. and to add as well new trade channels .

The Group diversified its portfolio by adding private labels and winning exclusive representation rights for well-known brands from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Turkey, and Netherlands.

Our Philosophy and Future

With the objective to grow into a diversified group that operates in the retail fields of food and beverage , home and personal care the group started an investment plan over two years ( 2024-2025) to increase the sales force , the distribution fleets and warehousing capacities to cater for the increased demands and any new eventual business opportunity.
